John Hopkins University  Paul McMullen, sports writer for The Sun, will give a lecture, "Maryland Basketball: Tales from Cole Field House," at 12 noon on Wednesday, Feb. 25, in Shriver Hall Auditorium on the Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St. in Baltimore.

Camden County College is a member of the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association), Region XIX, and the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference). The college participates at the highly competitive Division III level which is the designation for colleges that do not offer athletic scholarships.

Cayuga Community College offers transfer and career-oriented curricula on a degree and certificate basis through day, night, and summer sessions.

Coastal Georgia Community College was founded in 1961 as Brunswick college by the Regents of the University System of Georgia after the citizens of Glynn and Brunswick Counties approved a one-million dollar bond issue for purchase of land and the construction of buildings.

Racquetball: (Aug. 3) The United States swept the individual competition at the 2004 International Racquetball Federation (IRF) World Championships, winning four gold medals. It is the fourth time the U.S. has been able to claim world champions in all disciplines. The feat was also accomplished in 1981, 1992 and 1996. The U.S. is the only country to sweep the individual competition since the tournament’s inception.

Broome Community College  is one of more than Five-hundred member schools of the National Junior College Athletic Association. For Intercollegiate competition, BCC fields men's teams in 8 varsity sports - basketball, baseball, lacrosse, soccer, cross-country, golf, ice hockey, tennis; As well as women's varsity teams in softball, soccer, basketball, cross-country, tennis and volleyball. The sports program also includes  a large number of intramural activities.

Corning Community College sits on  a five hundred and fifty acre main campus on Spencer Hill comprising a complex of 8 buildings plus a planetarium and observatory. The College provides services at a number of off-campus sites throughout Steuben, Chemung and Schuyler counties.

In 1974, another Sixty acre tract next to the western edge of the campus was added. In 1994, a Twenty acre site next to the southern edge of the campus was obtained from the Marion County School Board, and the Central Florida Community College Foundation, Inc., purchased a Seventeen acre tract immediately north of the campus to provide a college residence facility (College Square), and to allow for future college expansion.

Endurance exercises increase breathing and heart rate, which in turn benefit the lungs, heart, and circulatory system. Endurance can increase stamina and delay or prevent many age-associated diseases such as diabetes, colon cancer, heart disease and stroke.
