The sport of Ten pin bowling has been around in one form or another for 100's of years and is now enjoyed by Ninety Five million people in over Ninety countries around the world.

 

It is the number 1 participation sport in the USA, with over Fifty Three million people playing the game at least once a year. One of the main reasons for Ten pin bowling's popularity is the fact that it's a recreation sport that can be played all year round, day or night regardless of weather conditions. In the USA, it is recognized as the number 1 sport for family participation, and it's also a favorite for individuals with both physical and developmental disabilities.

Since bowling has no age, gender or physical limitations, it's a lifetime sport - one that anyone can enjoy during the course of their entire lives. However, as with any other sport, it requires being watchful for injuries and taking care of your feet.

Bowling shoes designed specifically for the sport are an essential piece of equipment. Shoes provide stability and traction on surfaces that can vary widely between facilities. C. J. Buck is an expert on problems related to feet. CEO of Princeton, New Jersey-based Xenna Corporation, which distributes foot care products, Buck says, "Well-supported and constructed shoes made  specifically for Ten pin bowling are critical, but so is the need for comfort."
