Intercollegiate
Championships The United States Bowling Congress
Collegiate program has announced the locations of the 4Sectional Qualifiers
leading up to the 2006 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships, which will
take place Apr. 26-29 in Rockford, Illinois.

Bowling has no age, gender or physical limitations, it's a lifetime sport - one
that anyone can enjoy during the course of their entire lives. However, as with
any other sport, it requires watching out for injuries and taking care of your
feet.
Sunset Bowling Center became a
smoke-free establishment on July 1. Except for inside the glass-enclosed
Turkey Shoot Lounge, smoking is no longer allowed in the bowling center.
And, at a special fun-filled event scheduled for Aug. 5, all of Sunset –
including the lounge – will be smoke-free.

College of Eastern Utah
While Title IX does leave decisions up to the
schools, it also creates an atmosphere where there is an obvious team
that will go. Women’s sports are not cut. Men’s teams are
often cut. The main reason for cutting the teams is because of
numbers. There are too many males.
“There could be great
clinical significance from these findings,” said Dr. George Vetrovec,
chair of cardiology at VCU’s School of Medicine and world renowned for
his research on coronary artery disease. “Everything you do to
protect the heart muscle reduces the risk of death and improves the
outcome for patients with heart attacks.”
Today I'm going to sign an executive order directing federal agencies to
work together to develop new policies to promote
fitness. And at the White
House, federal agencies and businesses and professional sport leagues have
set up activities, as you can see, to educate people about better eating,
preventative screenings, and the danger of substance abuse.
East Central
Community College, situated in Decatur, Mississippi, is a junior
college that thrives on academic excellence. There are approximately
2,800 students enrolled at the college.
BCC employs nearly Two-thousand three-hundred
faculty and staff members at campuses located in the suburban municipalities
of Melbourne, Cocoa, Titusville and Palm Bay, an aerospace program at the
Kennedy Space Center, and an online Virtual Campus.
The college generates more than
$100 million to the local economy each year.
Over two thousand nine hundred students enrolled at
Crowder College in the fall of 2006. Crowder enrollment has increased by 65%
since the year 2000, making the
institution one of the fastest growing state-assisted colleges in
Missouri. Despite this rapid growth the college still
maintains an average class size of seventeen students.
The school's intercollegiate athletic program competes at the Division III
level of the National Junior College Athletic Association . This
membership permits Briarwood College to participate in the New England Region
(Region XXI), which includes many other 2 year institutions.
