Minnesota Hall of Fame
The 2006 inductees are the Sixteenth group to be
enshrined in the Hall of Fame, which began in 1991 and is based in the
League’s Brooklyn Center office. The other 2006 inductees are Joni Anker of
Eagan, Mary Grinaker of Moorhead, Wanda
Manther of Rosemount; Elaine Engle of Willmar, Richard Stanford of St. Paul,
Rodney Urtel of Mankato, Virgil Vagle of Paynesville, and the late Mel
Ivonen of Chisholm.

Fifty individuals representing environmental and golf interests will gather in
Lawrence Kan.,
July 29-31 to participate in a strategic planning session for The
Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG), formerly The Golf Course
Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Foundation.
The title also requires schools to treat
men and women equally when it comes to scholarships, coaches,
facilities, and equipment (What is Title IX?).
When Title IX was introduced, it was intended to make men and women equals.
Title IX is agreeable on paper. In other words, when it is written out on
paper, the ideas of Title IX are equal and contain unlimited opportunity for
both men and women to succeed in college athletics.
