There are seventy three 2 year transfer and career associate degrees. In addition the College offers distance learning courses through local Channel nineteen telecasts, web-based instruction, GSAMS video-conferencing, and at selected regional sites off the main campus. Darton College is a recognized leader in state core curriculum courses and distance learning initiatives.

Darton College's allied health and nursing programs provide southwest Georgia with the bulk of its health professionals - including seventy percent of all the nurses in Albany hospitals and thirty one percent of all registered nurses in the hospitals of thirty eight southwest Georgia counties.
