DEAN COLLEGE

 

Dean College is a private residential college situated on one hundred beautiful acres in Franklin, Massachusetts, the college is only forty five minutes from Boston.. 

 

Students enjoy a vibrant campus lifestyle, and with a short walk they can access downtown Franklin or the rail train to Boston. Ongoing theatrical and cultural events are offered on campus through the school's famous Dance and Theater programs.

Dean College has over nine hundred and fifty full time students and five hundred part time students, for a Full Time Equivalent enrollment of one thousand and forty eight students. Students also take part in intercollegiate athletics and a full activities program. The College awards associate degrees for 10 academic majors, a baccalaureate degree in dance, and offers on-campus bachelor degree options.

Dean College participates in Region XXI (New England) of the National Junior College Athletic Association as a Division II member.

The following intercollegiate sports are offered:

Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, Golf, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Lacrosse and Softball.

According to recent research, nearly one in three U.S. adults has high blood pressure, but because there are no symptoms, nearly 1/3 of these people don't know they have it.

Most of the school's student population lives and works on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. In 2001,  Blackfeet Community College began planning for the delivery of academic college courses over the internet.
