All prospective student-athletes must be enrolled full time (at least twelve credit hours) during the season of their competition and meet minimum academic eligibility requirements of passing at least twelve credit hours with a 1.75 GPA or better each semester. Transfer student-athletes must meet the same requirements for their course work. 2nd-season athletes must have accumulated at least twenty-four credit hours with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
ACC is a member of Region three of the NJCAA. The region encompasses all of New York State north and west of Kingston and totals approximately 31 member 2-year institutions, some of which represent national powers in such sports as wrestling, soccer and bowling. The program is affiliated in a more local way with the Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference, which is an association of 10 two-year colleges offering approximately 12 various sports programs to its men and women members. The Conference is one of the most competitive in the state. Coffeyville Community College participates in several athletic activities as a member institution of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association.
