Caldwell community college and technical institute

 

 

The school first opened its doors in 1964 as Caldwell Technical Institute with the employment of Dr. H. Edwin Beam as the college's 1st president.

 

Health occupations courses were offered in 1965 with the college's first facilities provided in 1967. Three years later, the college's name was changed to Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute as the college transfer program was implemented.

Today the college offers over One-hundred curriculum programs and a variety of continuing education options.

 Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute  is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

The college is a member of the National Junior College athletic association and offers the following sports:

Men's Basketball and Golf.

Women's Basketball, Golf and Volleyball.
