The Clarendon College Athletic Department offers 4 women's programs (basketball, softball, volleyball, rodeo), 3 men's programs (baseball, basketball, rodeo), along with co-ed cheerleading, meats judging, equine judging and livestock judging programs. the School believes that activities such as intercollegiate athletics teach young women and men valuable lessons and instill lifelong traits that help them become successful citizens. Athletic scholarships are available in all of these programs. The College is a member institution of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference which consists of Ten Texas and New Mexico community colleges and is well known throughout the USA as one of the top community college conferences. The Clarendon College Rodeo team competes in the Southwest Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. According to recent research, nearly one in three U.S. adults has high blood pressure, but because there are no symptoms, nearly 1/3 of these people don't know they have it.
