CROWLEY'S RIDGE
COLLEGE
Crowley's Ridge College is a 2 year
institution with a robust and strong Christian background and a reputation
for providing a quality liberal arts education to the school's local
community.
Anticipating an the College was founded in 1964 with great
support from the local and religious community; for example, the Arkansas
governor Orval Faubus took part in the groundbreaking ceremony. Crowley's
Ridge College is situated in Paragould, Arkansas, close to the crest of
Crowley's Ridge. The scenic college campus is located on one hundred and
fifty acres of rolling hills densely covered by pine trees. for it's 1st
ten years the school operated under the same governing board as Crowley's
Ridge Academy, a K-12 Christian academy that was established in 1953. In
1975, the 2 schools legally separated and now operate under separate boards
and charters.
Crowley's academic program is designed to integrate
spiritual life, scholarship and service. Students benefit from small classes
and personal attention from Faculty, Staff, and Administrators. The mission
of the college is to “Promote Academic and Spiritual growth in every
student.” Over five thousand students are now counted among the School's
alumni.
Crowley's Ridge College has an open admissions policy and
grants Associate of Arts degrees. Students of all religious backgrounds are
welcome. CRC students enjoy a variety of leadership opportunities and
extracurricular activities as well as an intercollegiate sports program. The
college is a member institution of the National Junior College athletic
association. the College is fully accredited by the Higher Learning
Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and
Schools.
