Cumberland County College is a comprehensive junior college that is learning-centered, accessible and dedicated to serving a diverse community of employers and students through quality innovative programs, services and the appropriate use of technology for life-long learning.

 

Cumberland County College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

the College was the 1st community college in New Jersey to open its own campus in October 1966.

The one hundred acre campus, comprises nine buildings and provides a wonderful educational and social atmosphere.

The Cumberland County College Dukes are a Division III NJCAA member institution and are members of Region XIX and the Garden State Athletic Conference.

The college currently competes in Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Softball and Men's and Women's Cross Country. Club Sports at the School include Fencing, Track and Field, Soccer, Volleyball and lacrosse.

The United States Olympic tennis team – consisting of six men and four women - will “go for the gold” in men’s and women’s singles and doubles at the tennis competition at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
