THIS MONTHS FEATURED COLLEGE
ENTERPRISE-OZARK COMMUNITY COLLEGE Enterprise-Ozark Community College is a two-year liberal arts transfer institution located in southeast Alabama. It is located in Enterprise, Coffee County, Alabama. The College serves residents of Coffee, Dale (Ft. Rucker), Pike (Troy) and Geneva Counties.
The college is located approximately 45 minutes from Dothan, Alabama, one hour and 30 minutes south of Montgomery, Alabama, and one hour and 30 minutes north of Panama City Beach, Florida. The college also has a branch campus at the nearby United States Army post, Fort Rucker. Classes are offered there during the noon hour Mondays through Thursdays, and evenings. The main campus in Enterprise consists of seven, fully equipped, modern and air-conditioned buildings. They are an administrative and general classroom building, a science building, a learning resources center (LRC), a science building, a health and physical education building, a fine arts building, an English and social sciences building, and a student center. |
Enterprise-Ozark Community College encourages athletics as a part of its educational program. Intercollegiate contests are played under the rules of the NJCAA and the Alabama Junior College Conference. Student eligibility is determined by these organizations and Enterprise-Ozark Community College.
Intramurals. The purpose of the intramural sports program is to provide an opportunities for students to participate in selected individual, dual, and team sports. Intramurals provide physical recreation and enjoyment during students’ college careers, contribute to students’ physical well-being, improve recreational skills for leisure time use in adult life, and assist in the development of good emotional and social qualities. Participation is voluntary and all students are invited to take part.
